Jackson Martin was very personable. I related well to him probably because he's younger. His art and presentation contained a lot of humor which made the entire experience more interesting. The first slide he presented was of him as a baby living on a hippie commune with his parents. His dad didn't have a shirt on and had a giant beard hanging down. Everyone in the crowd chuckled immediately.
He began as a performance artist and became a fine artist later, which I find strange. He also seemed to be constistant in his materials and subject matter. Most of his pieces contained living plants, glass, and mirrors. His funeral for the two way mirror I think is brilliant and hilarious. Great talk just in general.
